Darren Weeks brings an impeccable track record of success in real estate investing to Fast Track Capital. As a professional real estate investor since 1990, Darren and his team excel at identifying real estate investment opportunities with solid market fundamentals and identifiable trends. Darren bought his first investment property in 1990 and has since then participated in hundreds of diverse real estate transactions both individually and with joint venture partners.

A dynamic and successful entrepreneur, Darren embraced the philosophies and concepts presented by Robert Kiyosaki in his bestselling book Rich Dad Poor Dad and other material published by the Rich Dad Company. In 2001, Darren took this powerful material, customized it for his Canadian audience, and launched a financial literacy company called Fast Track to Cash Flow. Since the company’s inception, over 300,000 people have attended Fast Track to Cash Flow educational events held across Canada.

Darren holds a bachelor of commerce degree with a major in accounting from the University of Alberta.



James (Jim) Sand James (Jim) SandChief Executive Officer

Since 2000 Jim Sand has been investing in real estate and other private opportunities to the Fast Track Group. He specializes in conducting technical and fundamental due diligence on investment opportunities, as well as raising private equity. As a chartered accountant, he also offers valuable expertise in internal financial controls and management.

Jim is engaged in driving the strategic direction of Fast Track Capital, the affiliate company of the Fast Track Group. He oversees company operations to ensure cost-effective management of resources. He is also responsible for operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and investor communications.

Prior to joining Fast Track Capital, Jim was the vice president of finance for Yotta Yotta, Inc., an Edmonton-based data storage solutions provider. He held a senior financial position with R&M Energy System Canada, a manufacturer of downhole oilfield pumps, and was the vice president of finance for Corrpro Canada Inc., a manufacturer and service provider in the cathodic protection market. Jim has also worked with the accounting firm Price Waterhouse in Edmonton and currently has ownership in a number of private companies.

Jim holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Alberta, a business diploma from Red Deer College, and is a chartered accountant.



Brent MagnanBrent MagnanChief Operating Officer

Brent Magnan, chief operating officer of Fast Track Capital, has a broad background in finance, business development and management. His areas of expertise include business plan development, risk analysis, strategic planning and execution as well as developing and optimizing internal systems and processes. Having held various senior management positions, Brent’s solid financial background is an asset to Fast Track Capital.

An entrepreneur at heart, Brent’s background includes applying his passion for business development to the growth of a national telecommunications company called Comamigo Canada. As president and managing partner of Comamigo Canada, Brent successfully implemented a national network of re-sellers in the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) home phone service market. He also worked with a destination-based gaming company in the role of business development before joining the Fast Track team.

Brent is responsible for engaging new business and investment opportunities, performing due diligence in conjunction with the Fast Track Capital team, and ensuring chosen projects attain their required funding. Brent is also the vice president of business development for Fast Track to Cash Flow, the affiliate company of Fast Track Capital.

Brent also specializes in fundamental analysis and computer modeling. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in finance from the University of Alberta, where he was ranked among the top two percent of the business faculty. He was also recently included as one of Edmontonian magazine’s “Sizzling Twenty under 30” as voted on by Edmonton’s business leaders and professional associations.



Amardeep GillCA Chief Financial Officer

Amardeep Gill is the Chief Financial Officer of Fast Track Capital. Amardeep’s primary responsibility is to oversee all of the accounting, finance and tax functions of Fast Track Capital. He also oversees funds for which Fast Track Capital acts as Administrator.

Amardeep brings a wealth of experience in both the public and private sectors to Fast Track Capital. His knowledge of securities rules and regulations, along with his in-depth knowledge of accounting and finance, provide Fast Track Capital with the expertise to effectively manage its various investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Fast Track Capital, Amardeep held the position of Chief Financial Officer with a private software development company. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Liquor Barn Income Fund. He successfully completed the initial public offering of Liquor Barn Income Fund, which raised approximately $60M.

Amardeep joined Fast Track Capital in 2009. He is a Chartered Accountant and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.



Danielle PearceDanielle PearceDirector of Administration and Human Resources

Danielle Pearce brings a strong background in sales management, real estate and marketing to the Fast Track team. Responsible for overseeing the administration department, she also assists in the development and management of the regional sales team and is the privacy officer for Fast Track Capital Inc., a member company of the Fast Track Group.

Danielle started her business career in marketing after completing her college education and honed her sales skills when she was appointed European sales and marketing executive for PALRAM, an international plastics firm.

From there, Danielle moved into the real estate industry to work for the second largest real estate agency in the UK. During her five years at Sequence UK Ltd., Danielle was promoted from property sales manager to branch partner, managing the sales department, administration department, and financial services department. Danielle was one of the youngest branch partners in the country.

Danielle received the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) Technical Award, one of the most coveted awards available in the real estate industry in the UK. As a branch partner leading an all female team, Danielle continued to climb through the industry rankings until her immigration to Canada in July 2007, at which time she commenced a career with Remax Real Estate.

Danielle joined the Fast Track Group in March 2008 and continues to be an enthusiastic addition to the team.
